The first outing of the year! For this outing we will visit the historic O’Keefe Ranch. There is lots to see at the Ranch from old buildings and farm equipment to farm animals. Our visit will include a guided tour of the O’Keefe Mansion.
Here are some of the details for the June outing:
Date – Saturday, September 19, 2026
Location – O’Keefe Ranch, 9380 Hwy 97, Spallumcheen, B.C.
Time – We will meet at the parking lot for the O’Keefe Ranch at 10:00 AM
Cost - $10 – includes admission to the Ranch and a guided tour of the O’Keefe Mansion
What to bring –
There are lots of varied photographic opportunities at the Ranch and bringing lens that allow wide angle and zoom would be advantageous.
Don’t forget to bring along extra charged batteries.
For O’Keefe Ranch to arrange for enough tour guides, please RVSP by Saturday, September 12 at events@vernonphotography.club if you plan on attending this outing. Thank you!
Bring your gear along tonight as we will have educational stations where you can try new things!
We are looking for member volunteers to ‘demonstrate’ at stations of their choosing and expertise.
This could be anything from macro techniques, special photography techniques, lighting, flash photography, photo editing, explanation of ‘rules of composition’, demonstration of certain camera settings for specific types of cameras, etc.
Volunteers do not have to be experts! We rely on you to help make these evenings a success!
Please contact us if you are able to volunteer to host a station
Time: 7.P.M. at the Vernon Community Arts Centre.
